18.4. - More implementation - 3 hours
This week, my main focus was decorating, adjusting visuals and tweaking gameplay.
I've added many decorations so the level doesn't look "naked". This might also increase the difficulty a little bit, as some spikes might appear almost camouflaged. Furthermore, many objects needed adjusting theirs layer position number so everything looks natural. I was actively using method to create an empty game object and group decorations under it. What I've learned is that in this case after creating an empty object, it's and excellent idea to reset its transform.
Gameplay-wise , there is a neat little shortcut and also 2 completely alternative routs to finish, all of which are viable for speedrunning. A secret location has been added as well, it's hidden underneath the acid, so you have to fall on a specific location in order to die of acid but hit the checkpoint with your ragdoll (so you would respawn in a secret room). There in nothing in this location yet, apart from a good feeling of discovering it.
